Pribell asks: Are you hurt when being disregarded or betrayed? Do you feel pleasure when people appreciate your efforts and delight in your presence? So, it is with God! Imagine God demonstrates how reflecting on our emotional responses to common experiences enable us to relate to and develop a personal relationship with God.

“Suffusing bountiful scriptural references to support his thoughts, Rick manages to open a portal of enlightenment few authors have achieved. At this moment, as we live in a time of global chaos, IMAGINE GOD is a restorative treasure.” – Grady Harp, Amazon Hall of Fame Top 100 Reviewer, 5-stars

“The purpose of this book is to share a simple yet powerful revelation exposing how we can begin to know God,” says Pribell. “The potential is already inside of us.”

It was through his international export business many years earlier that Pribell traveled abroad to various countries and became acutely aware of the commonality among people everywhere. He recognized that regardless of our nationality, language, or religion, we all share the same feelings and emotions. He wondered, is this just a coincidence? Or, is this by God’s design? Pribell determined that this is what it means to be created “in His own image” (Genesis 1:27).

By recognizing this universal truth, he demonstrates through 21 examples with supporting scripture how our emotions reflect God’s image, an epiphany that transcends our religious differences.

“I have never read another book which so clearly, and in such a straight-forward manner, conveys the word of God in a format which will encourage the curious, and the needy, to explore the meanings behind His teachings in an easy to understand way.” – Susan Keefe, Midwest Book Review, 5-stars

After surviving a massive heart attack in 2015, Pribell began to question his own purpose in life. This is when he committed himself to writing Imagine God, and to help other people discover God for themselves. “Our emotions and God’s spirit are connected,” he says. “Exploring this is the key to achieving a more personal relationship with the one and only God – your God.”

Pribell shares with us his own spiritual journey. “We are separated from God by sin,” he says. “I became aware of only one way to break that separation and proceeded to ask Jesus into my life. Whether we realize it or not, we are all spiritually in need of God to perform heart surgery through Jesus, and only after it has been performed can we then clearly feel the difference.”

Now, enjoying new life both physically and spiritually, Pribell hopes to share his message with others through his new book, Imagine God. His unique message sets the stage for the best news of all: that almighty God wants a personal relationship with each of us.

“Imagine God” is a concise and practical guide to developing the kind of relationship with a higher power that the author experiences and that is fulfilling and true.” – John J. Kelly, Detroit Free Press, 5-stars

About Rick Pribell

Throughout his world travels, award-winning author Rick Pribell recognized that people are universally created with the same innate emotions and desires; those which precisely mirror God’s spirit according to what the Bible reveals. Pribell determined that this is by design and the key to achieving profound faith. Through 21 scripture-supported examples in Imagine God, he demonstrates how our emotional responses to life experiences enable us to relate to and develop a personal relationship with God.

He met his wife Joyce, a Trinidad island girl from a Hindu-Christian family of East Indian descent, while on business in the Caribbean. This, in addition to being quite the traveler, provided Pribell with a unique perspective to examine and compare his own faith among other religions and cultures. Although raised in a Jewish family from Orlando Florida, he came to accept Jesus as the Messiah and concluded that we are all created in the image of God.

In 2015, Pribell suffered a life-threatening heart attack and underwent quadruple by-pass surgery. The experience had a significant impact, causing him to question life’s purpose and accept that our time here on earth is only temporary. As a result, he adopted an urgent calling to help people discover God for themselves. Previously involved in an export distribution business and then various real estate projects, Pribell is now focused on sharing what he has learned about God through his writing.

His concise and easy-to-read book, Imagine God, is an Amazon Best-Seller and the winner of the 2020 Gold Award for Nonfiction books, Book Excellence Award, and the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award, as well as being a finalist for the Eric Hoffer Book Award. He and his wife now live in South Florida with their two children, where Pribell is hard at work on his next book.
