TOURIST VISA FOR CANADA
There are countries that offer jungles, deserts, savannas and tropical islands. Canada has just about everything else in incredible abundance. But Canada’s allure isn’t just about nature. Exploring Canada as a tourist has never been a piece of cake considering how much security and law this developed nation has maintained. Canada is sure to be a fascinating experience. Whether you are planning to move to Canada and want to see what it’s like, visiting your Canadian family, or just interested in a vacation in the Great White North, you will likely need a Canadian visitor visa or a tourist visa to enter Canada. There are two types of tourist visas to Canada: single-entry visas and multiple-entry visitor visas. They each have their own Canada tourist visa requirements. A visitor visa (also known as a temporary resident visa) is an official document that we attach to your passport. It shows that you meet the necessary requirements to enter Canada. A Temporary Stay Visa (TRV), also known as a Visitor Visa, is an official document issued by a Canadian visa agency and stamped into your passport to demonstrate that you meet the requirements to enter Canada as a temporary resident (whether as a visitor, student or worker). Although you are not allowed to work on a Canadian visitor visa, you can travel throughout Canada for tourism and leisure purposes.
What Is A Canada Tourist Visa?
The Canadian visitor visa, also known as a temporary resident visa, is an official document that accompanies your Canadian tourist visa. Most tourists from countries without a visa waiver or electronic travel authorization (eTA) require a visitor visa to travel to Canada. An online Canadian visa allows you to stay in Canada for up to six months by obtaining an Electronic Travel Authorization.

EMERGENCY VISA FOR CANADA
Foreign citizens who need to visit Canada in the event of a crisis are issued with a Canada Emergency Visa (e-Emergency Visa). If you live outside of Canada and need to visit Canada for a crisis or urgent reason e.g. For example: the death of a family member or loved one, a court case, or your family member or loved one has a real illness, you can apply for an emergency visa to Canada. A Canada Emergency Visa or Canada eTA Emergency Application requires much less preparation time. One of the characteristics of the Canada Emergency or Critical e-Visa application is that it is processed over the weekend for people who need to come to Canada for an emergency or unforeseen reason.
What Documents Are Required for an Emergency Canada Visa?
Canada Visa Application
The Canadian government introduced Electronic Travel Authorization in May 2016 to speed up the visa application process. Today, Canada visa applications have been replaced by the Canada eTA visa, which has the same meaning and similar criteria, and grants travelers the same permission. A Canada eTA visa is a required travel authorization you need to fly to Canada without a traditional visitor or tourist visa. You must apply for an eTA to visit Canada if you are from one of the visa-free countries (eTA eligible countries) and are arriving by air or traveling through a Canadian airport. eTA Canada (Electronic Travel Authorization) is an online visa for travelers from visa-exempt countries wishing to enter Canada by air for tourism, business or transit purposes. The eTA allows multiple entries for tourism, business or transit reasons with a maximum stay of 6 months each. It is valid for 5 years or until the expiry date of the associated passport, whichever comes first. Since the Canada Visa Application Form is available online, the applicant can easily apply for an eTA and without any hurdles. Visitors who are eligible to apply for a Canada eTA visa can obtain the necessary authorization at any time of the day from the comfort of their own home without having to visit an embassy or consulate.
Who Requires a Visa to Enter Canada?
There are approximately 148 countries that require a visa to enter Canada. Citizens of these countries must go through the visa application process depending on the reason for visiting the country. A visa is required to enter Canada for citizens of countries that do not have an eTA or visa waiver agreement. You can get different types of visas, e.g. Visitor, study, work or even immigrant visas.
CANADA VISA FOR SWEDEN CITIZENS
Swedish passport holders must have an approved visa waiver or eTA to enter Canada. The online system was introduced by the Government of Canada in 2016 to simplify the process of applying for a Canadian Tourist Visa Waiver and to save eligible citizens from having to visit a Canadian Embassy or Consulate. Citizens of Sweden are among the eligible nationalities who can now submit an online eTA application form from the comfort of their own home to receive an approved Electronic Travel Authorization for Canada electronically linked to their passport. The process of obtaining a travel authorization from Sweden to Canada has recently been greatly simplified with the introduction of the Canadian eTA. eTA stands for Electronic Travel Authorization. An approved Canadian eTA waiver is a multiple-entry travel authorization that allows the holder to stay in Canada for up to 180 days with each entry. It is valid for a total of 5 years from the date of approval, i.e you do not need to apply for an eTA before each visit. Completing the Canadian eTA application for Swedish citizens only takes about 30 minutes.
